Hi! (Hi?)

Hi folks, if anyone is out there. I actually have no idea who all follows me here, since I never use this. That's what I'm seeking out right now, actually.

I have a permanent livejournal and have for 16 years, and I have no intention on deleting it or moving primary homes. However, I also want people to be able to find me and read my entries, as they are interested. But I know folks are flying away from LJ in droves, and I get why. And I'm not ready to just post things publicly, since I do enjoy my privacy.

The sum of all of these things is: Unless there is a clean way to post first to livejournal and have it crosspost to DW (yes, in that order), I might opt to manually double post here for folks who are interested. But I want it locked as friends-only, so drop me a comment here if this interests you.

LJ is my primary fannish home and I am not deleting it, but I am adding everyone to my DW circle who I have friended on LJ and then found they also have DW...so hiiiiiiii!

As you know, Bob, I've been following your LJ for more than a decade. But I deleted my LJ last week, so I no longer have a flist. I do all my reading of journals on DW now (truthfully it's where I've spent most of my time since about 2008 -- you are one of the few people I was on LJ for). So if you start posting to DW, I will happily follow and comment here! If you stay on LJ only, I am likely to miss your posts. But there's always Twitter!

Well, sad as I am to see your LJ go, it gives me impetus to start cross-posting here, so I will do that. I don't post much, but it'll at least be something! <3

I've preserved all my old LJ posts and comments on DW, if you're ever feeling nostalgic. And I do still post here occasionally. But Twitter seems to be more my speed, too.
